SCE, a strongly growing international consulting engineering company, specialized in the fields of Water, Environment, Urban Planning and IT Services, is regularly carrying out consulting & engineering projects in China for various institutions (World Bank, ADB, etc.) and is as such is seeking to largely recruit Experts, for freelance, fixed-term or permanent contracts, with the following profile:

Education: University degree

Professional experience: Minimum 5 years of international experience, preferably in the frame of International Financing Institutions funded projects.

Qualifications : Strong competencies in one or several of the following type of services :

• Master Planning,
• Diagnostic Assessment, measurement campaign
• Feasibility Studies,
• Institutional Studies,
• Economical & Financial Studies,
• Social Assessment and Resettlement Action Plans
• Environmental Impact Assessment,
• Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building,
• Design,
• Tender Documentation preparation,
• Works Supervision,
• or specific Technical Assistance : Modelling, Information Systems, etc.

in one or several of the following fields :

• Water treatment (Drinking water treatment plant/WWTP, with all kind of raw or recipient water, including seawater) for municipal or industrial purposes
• Specific high technology issues : membrane treatment, wastewater recycling, MIS, etc.
• Water distribution/Sewerage collection
• Integrated Water Resources Management
• Flood protection / River hydraulics
• Agri/Agro-Environmental issues
• Solid waste
• Air
• Noise
• Integrated Pollution Prevention Control / Industrial pollution remediation

Languages : On top of Mandarin and/or Cantonese fluency, high command of English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
