Aquatech Strengthens Position in HPI/CPI Industry

For Eastern Petrochemical Co.'s (Sharq) third-phase expansion of its polyethylene complex in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia, Aquatech will supply demineralization and condensate polishing units in January 2007. These units have treatment capacities of 1,267,200 and 2,534,400 gpd respectively. Aquatech received this order from Foster Wheeler Energy, Ltd. of the United Kingdom.

For Ras Laffan Olefin Co.'s Ethane Cracker in Ras Laffan Industrial City in Qatar, Aquatech will be supplying demineralization and condensate polishing units through a contract from Technip of France. These units have capacities of 2 x 308 gpm and 3 x 1394 gpm respectively and will be delivered in November of this year.

In Kuwait, Equate Petrochemical Co. has a facility, Olefins II, which will receive an Aquatech water treatment system in August of 2006. Fluor of the Netherlands is Aquatech's direct customer.

Most recently, Aquatech received a contract from Italy's Snamprogetti for a polishing system that will be installed in Saudi Aramco's Khursaniyah Producing Facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This equipment, with a capacity of 2 x 270 gpm, will be delivered in January 2007.
