The water crisis facing China is well documented around the globe as daily news reports and trade journals frequently examine the problems and solutions. Of course, peer-to-peer communication at trade shows, within your office and on the Internet also can be extremely valuable.
During the International Water Association’s World Water Congress & Exhibition this past September, a number of water and wastewater professionals visited the Water & Wastes Digest China booth to not only subscribe to the publication, but also to find out how they could submit their editorial contributions.
The process is quite simple: Just e-mail your technical paper or white paper to the following address (wwd-china@sgcmail.com) in order to be considered for publication in an upcoming issue of Water & Wastes Digest China.
Within the past year, a large amount of editorial content from authors based in China has been submitted and is already earmarked for future issues of WWDChina.
Be sure to send your editorial content along soon as we are well underway in the editorial planning process for 2007.
On a related note, this issue of WWDChina includes case studies examining the installation of bar screens at Walt Disney World Hong Kong; the integration of a GIS water modeling system in Ballerup, Denmark; and a municipal membrane installation in the United States.
This issue’s technical story examines a new disinfection method that is available for municipal water distribution pipelines.
Again, the editorial content in Water & Wastes Digest China is designed to be applicable to the water and wastewater-related issues that you face everyday and your implementation of similar processes and technologies is encouraged.
